MILLINGTON, Tenn. - For the second time in eight days, Lance Hooper has qualified 26th for a NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series (NCTS) event. This time, Hooper earned the position for the O'Reilly Auto Parts 200 at the Memphis Motorsports Park on Friday, June 18. Jack Sprague won the pole for the race, which is scheduled for Saturday, June 19.

Hooper's best lap around the ¾-mile oval in the No. 13 Microtel Chevrolet Silverado was 23.225 seconds (116.104 miles per hour). Sprague turned 22.705/118.917.

"We're a little disappointed about that," Hooper said. "We thought we could get into the top-20. We made a gear change, and that might not have been the best thing for qualifying. We made some changes for Happy Hour and got a lot better. I think we can race well tomorrow. We're looking to get the best finish of the season for the No. 13 team this week."

Hooper posted the 13th-quickest time in the final practice following qualifying. He posted a season-best 19th-place finish in last week's NCTS race in Fort Worth, Texas.

The O'Reilly Auto Parts 200 is slated to start at 3 p.m. EDT/noon PDT Saturday, June 19. The race will be telecast live on SpeedChannel and broadcast on the radio affiliates of the Motor Racing Network.
