Jimmy Spencer Stats at Memphis:

This is Jimmy Spencer's first visit in the NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series to Memphis Motorsports Park; his 20th career NCTS start. Spencer is currently sixth in NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series Championship Point Standings, 4 points behind fifth-place Ricky Craven, 212 points behind leader Dennis Setzer.

Jimmy Spencer on Memphis:

Going to Memphis Motorsports Park, you've never raced there before, what are your opinions on going into another race track you've never seen competitively? "There are a lot of them, Kentucky being one of them, and I've raced Kansas before in a Nextel Cup car, but never in a truck. It's different. I'm not a rookie by any means but yet it's a different format than I'm used to. I'm still trying to figure the balance of these trucks. It's coming around, so I can't complain. Memphis is like a big Richmond and I like Richmond, I've raced a truck at Richmond in the past so I think I'll be alright."

You've just made some changes within your crew, a new Crew Chief Dan Glauz, how is the chemistry between you two working out and how will that help you out at a short track like Memphis? "It'll help me everywhere. As long as we see eye-to-eye and get along and he understands what you're looking for. Dan has worked with me in the past on some Busch races. He gets along with Gene and Teddy and that's the key. We try to share a bunch of information together. It's been working right now and I only see it getting stronger."
