* Butch Miller and the Dana Racing team tested at the Memphis Motorsports Park back in January. It was the first time that Miller had ever been in a truck prepared by his new team. The test was a big success, with the #18 running times above the track record. So there are some high hopes on the Dana team that the truck can run up front and put the bad luck of two weeks ago behind them. "When we tested here in January we were in the first truck that the team had put together," said Miller. "We were very fast during that test, so I'm pretty sure we'll be fast right off the trailer. I'm just ready to get back to racing and get the last race out of the team's minds."

* Butch Miller kept busy over the two-week break by doing some commentating for TNN and the American Speed Association (ASA). Miller was in Nashville, Tennessee for the ASA race on May 1st where he served as part of the broadcast crew. A position he will assume at 13 of the 20 ASA races run this year. "The ASA series was very good to me for a number of years. So it's always exciting to go back and see the people that helped you get to where you are today," said Miller.

* Butch Miller is pulling double duty on Thursday of this week as he is slated to test both the #18 and #4 trucks at Memphis.

* Dana Racing crew members Dana Ebersole and Danny Gill kept themselves busy during the two weeks off from the NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series by helping Bobby Hamilton JR's Busch Series team at Talladega on April 24. They served as the tire changers on the Sadler Racing entry during the Touchstone Energy 300, a job they perform weekly on the #18 Dana Dodge truck driven by Butch Miller. On April 30, Ebersole and Gill went to Huntsville Motor Speedway, with Gill running in the late model division and finishing sixth. Ebersole served as the crew chief.
