Morgan-Dollar Motorsports and Kraig Kinser Participate in Unique Career-Day Experience

STATESVILLE, NC -- Morgan-Dollar Motorsports (MDM) team members and Kraig Kinser, driver of the No. 47 Ginn Resorts Silverado, participated in a once-in-a-lifetime experience on Monday, March 5 at the Federal Law Enforcement Training Center (FLETC) in Brunswick, GA. FLETC serves as a training facility for over 80 Federal agencies, including the Secret Service, U.S. Air Marshals, Federal Aviation Administration (FAA), and the Central Intelligence Agency (CIA).

Mike Dryman of Performance Sports Group coordinated the trip for MDM. Dryman is also a military training consultant and puts his vast amount of motorsports knowledge to work as the pit trainer for the MDM pit crew, and was eager to showcase the team.

Pit crew members were able to demonstrate pit stops for the Department of Homeland Security (DHS) employees and then let DHS individuals try their hand

at changing and carrying tires, as well as jacking the truck. The crowds that quickly gathered were also able to tour the transporter and view the show truck, as well as get a glimpse of Kinser's helmet and firesuit.

While on-site, MDM crew members were able to tour the 1,500 acre site, take part in a ride-along on the driving course, test their driving skills on simulators, view the impressive firearms facility, and tour FLETC's immaculate physical techniques complex. The experience gave team members and Kinser a different perspective on government training, and also allowed DHS employees the opportunity to see the process and choreography that goes into a pit stop.

"Getting the opportunity to visit a facility like FLETC is something that very few people ever get to do," Kinser said. It was awesome to meet all of the

great people on-site and for allowing myself and the team to have such an in-depth tour. It was really interesting to see the different tactics and strategies that agencies of the government are being trained to better protect our people and country."

The next event on the NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series schedule is on March 16, 2007 at the Atlanta Motor Speedway. The first practice is scheduled for 9:30 a.m. EDT on Friday, March 16th followed by the one-hour final practice at approximately 12:30 p.m. EDT.
