Ryan Lawler to Start 19th today in Truck Series Debut

In his first-ever try at Martinsville Speedway Ryan Lawler qualified 19th for the NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series Kroger 250 piloting the #07 Deals Auto Auction of Dallas Chevrolet. He was the 3rd truck to hit the track this morning making it a very green driving surface. "We definitely picked up speed and I think if we had a later draw we would have done even better," said Lawler. "I think we're in a good starting position and have a good race truck. We just need to go out and run a good race keeping the truck clean and come out of here with a solid finish."

Jason White piloted the #08 GunBroker.com Dodge to a 31st place start. "We still need to find more speed and would have liked a better run," said White. "But now we just need to go and race and take our time moving towards the front. I think we'll have a good truck for the race." Before the race, fans can meet Jason White at the Craftsman Mobile Marketing Unit from 12:45-1:30pm.
