SS Green Light Racing: Nextel Cup / NNS Series Driver Johnny Sauter takes the wheel at Martinsville..

Mooresville, NC - Johnny Sauter Cup Series regular driver, multi-race NNS Series winner, 10 time ASA winner and 2001 National Champion takes the wheel at Martinsville Speedway to drive the # 07 ASILimited / Akzo Nobel / Spectrum Metal Finishing Chevrolet. This Saturday's Kroger 200 marks the 20th time series drivers have competed at Martinsville Speedway. The event will be televised Live on SpeedChannel at 2:00 P.M. EST.

The Martinsville NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series event will mark round 21 of 25 on the season. Martinsville is one of the oldest tracks on the circuit and embraces the roots of NASCAR. The speedway celebrated its 60 year of operation in 2007 and is the oldest track today on the Nascar Nextel Cup Circuit, beginning operations in 1947. The track has banking of 12 degrees, is .526 of a mile in length and is known as the "Paper-Clip" shaped oval. Richard Petty remains the all time race winner with 15 victories at the historic speedway.
