Historic Race for Jason White at Martinsville

Saturday's Kroger 200 will be a very special race for Virginia native Jason White as the veteran driver will make his 100th career start in the NASCAR Camping World Truck Series at the Martinsville Speedway. In addition to breaking the century mark behind the wheel White will make NCWTS history by running his fourth different manufacturer in a single season.

White's career in the NCWTS began in 2001 at the Mesa Marin Speedway completing all 250 laps and finished sixteenth. He has a fixture in the series since early in the 2007 season. His don't give-up attitude and ever-present smile have made him a fan favorite over the last several years.

With five races remaining in the 2010 season, Jason is eleventh in the NCWTS standings just four points behind Justin Lofton for the tenth position.

White has six previous starts at the half-mile track with a best finish of thirteenth, which he has done twice. Jason had a very strong run in this year's spring race until contact from another truck sent Jason spinning and destroyed his GunBroker.com No. 23 resulting in a disappointing 29th place finish.

"We flat-out got wrecked here in the spring race, we had a good truck running in the top-fifteen the first half of the race before we were spun. I'm hoping to put this GunBroker.com/Pursuit Channel Toyota up-front this week.

"I'm really excited about running the Toyota Tundra at Martinsville," White said. "We've been trying hard to find the right combination to get us that first victory. We're going to put the best stuff we have on the track each week for these next five races."

"I don't think anyone has ever run four manufacturers in the same season before so it's a cool deal for everyone on the GunBroker.com team, he added. "Being my one-hundredth start adds to the excitement of the weekend."

The Kroger 200 is also the 242nd consecutive NCWTS start for the SS Green Light Racing team.
