Ron Hornaday,Jr., Kyle Busch and Matt Crafton Top Chevy Silverado Qualifers at Martinsville Kroger 200/Martinsville Speedway

Kyle Busch, No. 15 Sound & Speed Silverado - Qualified 9th

"We never made a qualifying run so we weren't sure what to expect. We hadn't been all that great all day anyway. We're just going to try to make the most out of what we've got. Billy (Ballew) and Richie (Wauters, crew chief) and all these guys give the chance to run this thing so we'll see what we can do for them tomorrow. Today wasn't the kind of day we were looking for."

Aric Almirola, No. 75 Spears Manufacturing Silverado - Qualified 12th

"The first lap was pretty loose. These trucks are a handful on new tires. Loose is fast on a long run here and we've set up for the long run. We were really good in practice so I'm looking forward to the race. Free will be good tomorrow."

Dennis Setzer, No. 85 E85 FlexFuel Silverado - Qualified 16th

SOME OF OTHER DRIVERS WERE SAYING THE CONDITIONS WERE MUCH LOOSER. HOW WAS IT ON YOUR TRUCK? "It was jut a little looser on ours. Our FlexFuel Silverado has been pretty good during practice in race conditions so now it's time to get in the race condition. We're ready to go racing."

Denny Hamlin, No. 46 EconoLodge/Rodeway Inn Silverado - Qualified 19th

"We were just too loose. It looks like the condition has changed a lot from final practice to qualifying here but I'm really confident that we've got a good race car in race trim. We'll see what we've got."

Chad McCumbee, No. 08 GPS Store/Garmin Silverado - Qualified 26th

ON GETTING THE FIRST DRAW: "It's always tough when you go out first but I just tried to do everything but crash in that warm up lap to get some heat in the tires. We tried a little different air pressure this time. It didn't ever seem like the thing got going quite as good as we wanted it to. We've been struggling at the flat tracks so far this year. This has actually been a decent weekend for us so far so hopefully that will transfer over to a real good finish."

Ron Hornaday, Jr., No. 33 AES HR Solutions Silverado - Qualified 33rd

WILL THAT TIME HOLD UP? "Right now we'll find out - Mark Martin is out there. You never know. Wally (Rogers, crew chief) and the guys have done a great job with the AES Chevrolet. We'll see what it does. Wherever it goes or wherever we start, we've got a really good truck in race runs so we'll be all right."

***

John Mickel, No. 07 Dudman Group/DSI Group Silverado - Qualified 35th

WHAT'S YOUR STRATEGY FOR TOMORROW? "We just have to keep our nose clean for a little while. Hopefully we can pick them off one at a time. We freed up a bit and I think we freed up a bit too much but hopefully we can get it OK when the race is going."
