REUTIMANN SCORES ANOTHER TOP-10 FINISH AND MAINTAINS THIRD-PLACE IN NCTS POINTS STANDINGS

MANSFIELD, Ohio (May 28, 2006) -- David Reutimann recorded his sixth top-10 finish of the season at Mansfield Motorsports Speedway in the No. 17 Team Tundra Racing Toyota. The Florida native started fourth and finished ninth in the 250-lap event maintaining third-place in the NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series (NCTS)points standings.

"We had a good day in the points and we were able to walk away with another top-10 finish," said Reutimann. "We had a good run and a solid finish at a track where we've not done well at in the past. It was the best truck that we have ever had at Mansfield."

After advancing to third on the first lap, Reutimann held on to the position until he entered pit road for his first and only pit stop of the day at Lap 51 for tires.

"We lost some spots in the pits on our stop, which never happens to us," said Reutimann. "At that point during the race, we were good in the center, but tight off. We just needed to be a little more free."

After the No. 17 Team Tundra restarted 31st, Reutimann entered the top-15 by Lap 92. Almost halfway, Reutimann moved his No. 17 Team Tundra Racing Toyota into the top-10. Positioned seventh on the 10th restart of the race at Lap 142, Reutimann didn't lose his position until Lap 229.

"Something happened ahead of us and we had to check up and two trucks got by us," said Reutimann. "There was nothing we could do. I'm just glad we got a top-10 finish out of the deal. We finished ahead of Todd (Bodine) and Ted (Musgrave) and gained some ground in the points on those guys, which is no easy feat."

Reuitmann is within striking distance of first-place in the NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series driver's points standings trailing Todd Bodine by only 106 points. Reutimann is also 86 points outside of second-place, which is occupied by Bodine's teammate -Ted Musgrave. The top-five in points continue to be occupied by Toyota Tundra drivers with David Starr and Johnny Benson rounding out the last two spots.

"Toyota is having a great year," said Reutimann. "They have three wins this season and a bunch of top-five and top-10 finishes in the NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series. I can't wait to see how the rest of the season unfolds."

Reutimann's season is unfolding quite nicely and he has amassed one pole award, three top-fives and six top-10 finishes in seven starts. Reutimann didn't have the same fortune last season, but did have a turning point at Dover International Speedway. This weekend Reutimann returns to the Monster Mile, where he finished fifth last season.

"We had an awful season up until that point," said Reutimann. "Things just hadn't been going well at all. That particular race I felt like it was a make or breakdeal for me. We were able to finish fifth and it helped us get things moving in the right direction."
