Dotter grids 26th at The Magic Mile.

Loudon, NH Bobby Dotter will start the Saturday's New England 200 NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series race at the New Hampshire International Speedway from the 26th position. Dotter turned a lap of 30.942 seconds/123.095 miles per hour in the People Against Drugs Chevrolet.

"This is the truck we crashed in practice at Kansas a couple of weeks ago, and we had to put a new rear clip on it," Dotter said. "There have been a few things we needed to correct in practice today. One thing popped up with the trailing arms that we didn't expect, but we worked through it and we really have the truck driving good. It's very comfortable, we just need to squeeze a little more speed out of it."

Dotter said the he and the team are happy with the truck's performance, to an extent.

"We are happy to come out with the truck and get it to drive as comfortably as it is," Dotter said. "It is not unusual to have a lot more problems with a repaired chassis than we did. But we are a little disappointed that we haven't found a little more speed. We think its in the truck. We are going to mull it over and come up with a plan tonight.

The New England 200 from the New Hampshire International Speedway can be seen on ESPN at 1 pm ET. The race will be broadcast on XM Satellite Radio, and can be heard on MRN Radio affiliates nationwide.
