LAS VEGAS, Nev. - After racing in the top-12 early in the event, Matt Crafton was saddled with a 25th-place finish in the Las Vegas 350 NASCAR Truck Series race at the Las Vegas Motor Speedway Sunday, October 13.

Just 19 laps into the 146-lap race, Crafton headed to pit road when a misfire developed in the engine in the No. 88 Menards/ColorPave Chevrolet. Crafton eventually lost 20 laps to the leaders as he made three pit stops to rectify the problem.

"There was a small hold in the plug wire boot," Crafton lamented. "It was arcing to the header and making the engine miss. I hate it because I'm pretty sure we had a top-10 truck today."

Crafton returned to the track as the leaders completed 51 laps. He ran the final 95 laps without losing another lap to the leaders. Crafton consistently raced among top-10 and top-15 trucks.

Despite the finish, Crafton maintained 15th place in the series point standings.

The NASCAR Truck Series continues with a race in Fontana, Calif. Saturday, November 2.
