BUESCHER AT LAS VEGAS: Saturday's race at Las Vegas Motor Speedway will be Buescher's first start at the Nevada track. The Raybestos Rookie of the Year Contender will see the banks of the 1.5-mile oval for the first time on Saturday morning as the NASCAR Camping World Truck Series embarks on the track for their first practice session. In spite of never seeing the inside of LVMS, Buescher has competed in the Legend Series at The Bullring, a small asphalt oval on the outskirts of the intermediate track.

CHASSIS INFORMATION: This week, crew chief Jamie Jones and the No. 10 MaxxForce International Ford team will unload Circle Bar Racing chassis CB-16. This will only be the second race of 2009 for this particular Ford F-150, as Buescher captured a 20th-place finish at Chicagoland Speedway four weeks ago. Before competing at Chicago, this chassis was rebuilt with a new body.

TIME'S RUNNING OUT: With only six races left in the NCWTS season, time is running out for Buescher to claim the Raybestos Rookie of the Year honors. The 19-year-old currently sits third in the standings, 42 points behind leader Johnny Sauter and 18 points behind second-place Tayler Malsam. Only the best 15 races of the season count towards each individual's point total, so Buescher still has a chance at improving his position before the checkered flag waves on the season. Also, Buescher has received the Rookie of the Race honors three times this season.

HAVE YOU VOTED?: NASCAR has created an online ballot for the fans to vote for their favorite driver for the Most Popular Driver Award. Fans are allowed to vote once a day, until the polls close on October 31, 2009. The results of the balloting will be announced at the NASCAR Camping World Truck Series banquet at the end of the season. Go to www.jamesbuescher.com and click on the Most Popular Driver icon to vote, as time is running out!

MEET THE DRIVER: Buescher, along with numerous other Truck Series competitors, will take part in an Autograph Session for the fans on Friday night from 7-8 P.M. local time at the Stratosphere Hotel and Casino.

DID YOU KNOW?: Last week before heading to New Hampshire, Buescher went on a hunting trip in New Mexico where he was able to shoot an elk. Hunting is one of the many activities that the Texas native enjoys doing away from the racetrack.

PREVIOUS RACE RECAP: Making his 20th career NCWTS start last Saturday at New Hampshire Motor Speedway, Buescher and his MaxxForce International team struggled at the 1.058-mile track. Despite recording his third best qualifying effort of the season and starting the race from the 10th position, Buescher faced an "unpredictable" Ford F-150 during the 200-lap event, which led to the Circle Bar Racing team going a lap down on two different occasions and finishing in a disappointing 17th-place.

QUOTES FROM BEHIND THE WHEEL:

BUESCHER (On racing at Las Vegas Motor Speedway): "I've never raced at Las Vegas before, never even been inside the track, so this weekend is going to be a learning experience. The past couple of races haven't been our best as a team, so I'm optimistic that we can end the six-week stretch on a positive note. The No. 10 MaxxForce International Ford F-150 that we are taking this weekend had a brand-new body put on it in Chicago and we had a solid run going there before a tire blew that put us three laps down. Hopefully our luck will turn around and we can have a decent weekend from start to finish."
