SILVERADO ON THE TRACK: LAS VEGAS MOTOR SPEEDWAY:

* Chevrolet Silverado drivers have won four (4) of the 11 previous NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series (NCTS) races run at Las Vegas Motor Speedway (LVMS)

TEAM CHEVY SILVERADO ON THE TRACK: Dayne Pierantoni, GM Racing Silverado Program Manager, NCTS: "Las Vegas is the first 1.5-mile track we've run since Kentucky in July. This style track really requires the complete package of aero, handling and engines. With four of the last seven races on 1.5-mile tracks, Las Vegas will really set the tone and establish how the teams are prepared going into this final stretch. Ron Hornaday is the only driver to have won two races on the 1.5-mile tracks so far this year. With the momentum that his team has gained over the last few weeks I would expect them to carry that right into Las Vegas. Matt Crafton won at Charlotte with Jack Sprague and Chad McCumbee running very strong at these tracks as well. I am expecting another good week for our Chevy Silverados."

FROM THE DRIVER'S SEAT:

RON HORNADAY, NO. 33 CAMPING WORLD SILVERADO: "I've had some good runs at Las Vegas over the years. I like the track; it's similar to racing at Texas, Atlanta and Charlotte. They all have the same layout. We put together a decent run last year, but had a tire issue late in the race that cost us a good finish. Our mile-and-a-half program has been great this year. I don't see why we cannot have another good run on this type of track. Rick Ren (crew chief) and all the guys on this Camping World Chevrolet Silverado team do an awesome job week in and week out.

JACK SPRAGUE, NO. 2 CAMPING WORLD SILVERADO: "Before they added the progressive banking in 2006, the track drove a lot like Kentucky does now. Since they added the banking the track has gotten much faster and it has given us more racing grooves. I think the 1.5-mile tracks really tend to fit my driving style. We have good, fast trucks each weekend, but for some reason the 1.5-mile tracks have given us some long runs and have really let my trucks come in and show their full potential."

MATT CRAFTON, NO. 88 MENARDS SILVERADO: "I am looking forward to going back to Las Vegas. It is close to home and I have lots of friends and family coming from California for the race. The new configuration has presented challenges to me. I did better on the old track. But, our 1.5-mile track program has come a long way and I am looking forward to being a top-five truck and a contender for the win. We have been in a little slump so hopefully this weekend we get back on track and have a solid points race."

DONNY LIA, NO. 81 NATIONRIDES.COM SILVERADO: "Las Vegas looks like a really fun race track so I'm definitely looking forward to it. I really enjoy the 1.5-mile tracks. I don't really have much finishes to show for how much I've enjoyed them this year, but I have a feeling we're going to have a really good truck there. We're bringing a brand new truck so the optimism is really high."
