Knocking the rust off:

"I just want to get back behind the wheel because it is tough on a competitor to sit out for a couple of races like I have and watch someone else behind the wheel. I certainly understand the situation and I have been right there helping Chris Fontaine in any way that I can, but I just want to race. That is the competitor in me. It will be great to get back this weekend, get behind the wheel and go racing. Hopefully we can have the type of run we had at Dover. We have been pretty competitive most places we've been and we should be competitive this weekend."

Testing at Kentucky:

"We were able to test at Kentucky Speedway last week and the test went really well. I think we should be up to speed when we unload there this weekend. I really like the racetrack. I have been there before but this was the first time that I have been able to drive on the track. We were fast right from the start of the test and I was able to get comfortable fairly quickly. That will be a big help when we go back this weekend. I have heard other drivers talk about the bumps and all the characteristics of the racetrack but I really didn't notice the bumps at all. There wasn't any of the washboard effect that I have heard others talk about. The truck was real stable over the bumps."

Learning from the Boss:

"Bobby Hamilton is very helpful anytime we go to a new racetrack. I usually talk to him before we go someplace. For instance I talked with him a lot before we went to the test at Kentucky and he explained to me where the truck should be in relation to the bumps, how far off the wall I should be in certain places. I also usually talk with him after I have run somewhere to get additional information on throttle usage and things like that. He is a veteran and a pro."

Crew Chief Randy Seals on the Kentucky Speedway test:

"The test at Kentucky went as good as we could have expected. Our primary goal in going to the test was to get Timothy some laps under his belt. He was able to adapt to the racetrack really quickly. We had the same setup under the truck that Bobby Hamilton had under his truck when he was so dominant there last year. In his third lap on the racetrack Timothy ran a lap time that would have put him second or third in qualifying there last year. I am sure everyone will pick up speed but we were able to get Timothy where we needed to be."
