MATT CRAFTON -- NO. 88 MENARD'S/IDEAL DOOR CHEVROLET SILVERADO

Matt, after 200 starts and pretty much becoming a veteran driver it seems that you are finally having the kind of season where things are falling into place wouldn't you? "We've had a good season, I mean a really good season. We've had some bad races, but everybody has had some bad races. For the most part though, our Menard's Chevy Silverado has been good right off the trailer. This is a brand new truck we brought here this week to Kentucky. We took it to the wind tunnel on Monday and to the chassis dyno and its proven everything we wanted so far."

What is the biggest challenge here at the halfway point to stay in contention for the championship? "I think we need to just keep doing what we are doing. I have won championships on a lot of teams where I have wrecked and its knowing that we can win week in and week out that keeps us going."

Matt how did that victory change things in your perspective and that of the team's? "It was huge momentum for us. I knew I could win and my crew chief instilled that in me and he is awesome. He has never been a crew chief at this level and its amazing to see the difference in his making calls and leading this team."

What is your reaction to the way that Kyle Busch has been running and him coming over to the NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series "Kyle is awesome. He is unbelievable to watch. Cars, trucks or whatever he is in he is amazing. Also the way he handles himself now, it really shows a lot of maturity now on his part."
