LAGASSE BACK IN ACTION IN KANSAS

After a four-week break Scott Lagasse Jr will be back in action this weekend for the O'Reilly Auto Parts 250 at Kansas Speedway in Kansas City, Kansas.

Lagasse is aiming to continue the steady improvement of his JTG Racing crew as he strives to push the #20 Nicholson Group Ford F-150 into the top 20 in points in the 2008 NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series points in the next few races.

Kansas has been a good track for Lagasse, who won his first ARCA race last April at the 1.5-mile speedway in a spirited victory over fellow Ford driver Erik Darnell.

Lagasse has posted steady and consistent finishes so far this season to be 23rd in the series standings after four races. The four-week break has given both driver and team the opportunity to put time into improving their truck ahead of this weekend's race in Kansas.

Kansas will be a crucial for NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series teams as they prepare for the busiest part of the season. The two-week break after Kansas leads into a seven-week stretch of consecutive races, meaning the fortnight after Kansas will present the final opportunity for significant development before the seven-race streak starts at Lowe's Motor Speedway.
