* Joe Ruttman enters this weekend's race at Richmond, Virginia as one of only two drivers to have completed every lap run in trucks at the track. This feat was almost not reached as last year he was black-flagged for jumping the start of the race from the pole position. The ensuing penalty dropped him one lap down which he made up and finished fourth. This is not a new feat for Ruttman as he and the Dana team fell two laps down earlier this season at Nashville because of a flat tire. At that race, Ruttman again finished fourth after making up both laps before the end of the race. All records aside, Ruttman is hoping that neither of these problems occurs this year. * Joe Ruttman and the Dana Racing team have finished in the top ten in the last three races in a row. If the team can extend that streak to four it will be a record for a Dana sponsored truck. The team has already surpassed Dana's old record of 9 top tens in a season. The new record is ten, set last week at Topeka.

* The Dana Racing team has finish in the top ten in half of the 20 races run thus far in the 1999 NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series season. The team also has two top five finishes with Joe Ruttman.

* The Bobby Hamilton Dana Racing team and driver Joe Ruttman now sit 114 points out of tenth place in the NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series Owner's Points.

* The Virginia is for Lovers 200 at Richmond International Raceway is the fifth time this year that the #18 and the #4 trucks will race against each other. It is the second time that Joe Ruttman and Bobby Hamilton will be teammates this season.

Joe Ruttman:

"I just hope I can get through this race without getting any penalties like last year. I still am not sure how the pole sitter jumps the start of the race."

"This will be the second time I race with Bobby as my teammate so it should be pretty cool. Both of us run good at this track so to say we are expecting big things is an understatement."

"Someone told me the other day that we set the record for most top 10s in a row for a Dana truck so we definitely want to keep that streak alive."

"I'm glad to get back to the night racing. It just seems like to me that the fans and the drivers get a little more pumped up for this racing. I guess it's because the trucks are so bright and the sparks are flying. I don't know, it's something though. I know I like it."
