This Week’s Silverado… The No. 31 Wolfpack Rentals Chevrolet Silverado team will bring chassis TMS-011 to Saturday’s 200-mile race at Darlington Raceway. TMS-011 last saw racing action at Homestead-Miami Speedway in November of 2010, when James Buescher crossed the finish line in the 16th position.

Come See Me… James Buescher will participate in the NASCAR Camping World Truck Series autograph session on Saturday, March 12th at the Darlington Raceway. The autograph session will be held on the famed pit road of the “Lady in Black” from 1:30 to 2:30 pm EST. First Win… Turner Motorsports captured its first win last weekend at Las Vegas Motor Speedway in the NASCAR Nationwide Series race with Mark Martin and the No. 32 Dollar General Chevrolet. The organization is in its sophomore season of NASCAR competition and has already captured one win, one pole, along with 16 top-five and 36 top-10 finishes. Turner Motorsports has expanded from a two-truck NASCAR Camping World Truck Series (NCWTS) operation in 2010 to become the largest stand-alone multi-series team in NASCAR’s top-tier touring series, fielding three entries in the NCWTS and four entries in the NASCAR Nationwide Series (NNS)

James Buescher on driving at Darlington Raceway

“I am really excited about going to Darlington [Raceway] this weekend. It is a great track with a rich history. As a driver, you have to drive the truck differently at each end of the speedway. Turns 1 and 2 are really fast and you barely have to crack the throttle. You carry a lot of speed through the center of the corner and down the back straightaway. Turns 3 and 4, on the other hand, are very technical. You have to slow the truck way down and it really has to be able to turn in order to get a good run up off. It is a great track where you can run side-by-side all day long.

“We had a great run there last year, qualifying on the outside of the front row and running inside the top-10 all day. We are taking my favorite truck [TMS-011] that has had a lot of success and I am expecting more of the same this weekend in Darlington.”
