BUESCHER AT IOWA: Even though this will be the first NASCAR Camping World Truck Series event at Iowa Speedway, Buescher has made five career starts at the Newton, Iowa racetrack. In his first ARCA RE/MAX Series start at Iowa in 2008, Buescher drove the No. 32 Win-Tron Racing car for a total of 118 laps before the engine expired, forcing the team to cut their day short and relegating Buescher to a 29th-place finish. This past July in his second ARCA RE/MAX Series start at the Midwestern short track, the 19-year-old drove the No. 9 Win-Tron Racing car to a 30th-place finish, as the team had two cut tires in the first 82 laps, once again ending the night short for Buescher. In addition, Buescher has competed in one NASCAR Camping World East Series race at Iowa Speedway. The Texas native qualified in the ninth position and came home in 13th-place. In 2007 and 2008, Buescher also participated in two USAR Pro Cup races, running up front in contention for the win in both before problems (broken axle and fuel pump) plagued the driver.

CHASSIS INFORMATION: This week, crew chief Jamie Jones and the No. 10 MaxxForce International Ford team will unload Circle Bar Racing chassis CB-24. This will be the fifth race for this particular Ford F-150, as Buescher drove it to an 11th-place finish at Martinsville Speedway, a fifth-place finish at The Milwaukee Mile, a 20th-place finish at Memphis Motorsports Park, and most recently a sixth-place finish at O'Reilly Raceway Park at Indianapolis.

ROOKIE UPDATE: With nine races left in the 2009 NASCAR Camping World Truck Series season, Buescher currently sits third in the Raybestos Rookie of the Year point standings and is still in contention for the esteemed award. The Texas native is 10 points behind second-place Tayler Malsam and 17 points behind leader Johnny Sauter. Only the top 14 finishes of the season count into each driver's total for the ROTY Award, so Buescher will look to replace a lower finish and gain maximum points this weekend.

HAVE YOU VOTED?: NASCAR has created an online ballot for the fans to vote for their favorite driver for the Most Popular Driver Award. Fans are allowed to vote once a day, until the polls close on October 31, 2009. The results of the balloting will be announced at the NASCAR Camping World Truck Series banquet at the end of the season. Go to www.jamesbuescher.com and click on the Most Popular Driver icon to vote!

AUTOGRAPH SESSION: Fans will have the opportunity to meet Buescher this weekend, as he is scheduled to take part in a NASCAR Autograph Session on Saturday afternoon from 4:00 to 5:00 P.M. Central time. Buescher, along with fellow NCWTS drivers, will be signing behind the Manatt Grandstands at Iowa Speedway.

DID YOU KNOW?: Buescher has captured the Raybestos Rookie of the Race honors three times this year and in all three events, the teenager drove Circle Bar Racing chassis CB-24 -- the same chassis he will be running this weekend at Iowa Speedway.

PREVIOUS RACE RECAP: Last Friday night during the NCWTS' Inaugural event at Chicagoland Speedway, Buescher sported a special "Back the Bid" Olympic paint scheme to bring awareness to Chicago's bid for the 2016 Olympic Games. Unfortunately, Buescher's race did not go as planned, as a cut tire brought the driver to pit road early. A long green flag run forced Buescher to pit for tires and fuel during the middle stage of the race, putting the No. 10 team three laps down in the process. The Circle Bar Racing team was left with a disappointing 20th-place finish.

STAY UP TO SPEED: The Lucas Oil 200 from Iowa Speedway will take the green flag this Saturday, September 5th at 9:45 P.M. Eastern. Race coverage will be televised live on SPEED, beginning at 9:30 P.M. Eastern, and heard live on select affiliates of MRN Radio and Sirius-XM NASCAR Radio Channel 128, beginning at 9:30 P.M. Eastern.

QUOTES FROM BEHIND THE WHEEL:

BUESCHER (On racing at Iowa Speedway): "Iowa is a great track to race at, but I haven't had a lot of luck there. This is the first time that the Truck Series has raced at the track, so it's nice to have a little more experience heading into the weekend for once, compared to some of the veterans in the series. I have competed in five different races at Iowa, so I've made quite a few laps around the track and if our luck can turn around, I think this weekend is going to be a good one. Jamie (Jones) and all of the guys on this No. 10 MaxxForce International team are doing a great job and we just want to finish out this stretch of races on a good note."
