David Starr, driver of the No. 10 International MaxxForce Diesel Ford F-150 looks forward to capturing the checkered flag at tonight's Power Stroke Diesel 200 presented by Ford and International at O'Reilly Raceway Park. DAVID STARR -- No. 10 International MaxxForce Diesel Ford F-150

THIS IS A BIG WEEKEND FOR YOU AND TEAMMATE RICK CRAWFORD WITH THE INVOLVEMENT OF INTERNATIONAL, POWER STROKE AND FORD..."It's an honor to be involved with a company like International and their commitment to this sport, the NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series and their dedication to the US Army. This weekend both Rick and I are carrying the Army logos on our Ford F-150s in salute to the military. International is committed to the products they put out on the road, the International trucks, the MaxxForce diesel engine, the Power Stroke Ford engine they put in the Ford trucks; it's an honor to be part of this group. It's great to come here today at ORP and have my truck sponsor as the sponsor of the race. And to have my teammate's sponsor as a race sponsor, it's probably the first time that something like that has ever happened in my career. It's pretty cool. We're just focused on trying to get our International MaxxForce Diesel F-150 racing good where we put on a good show for all the employees of International tonight. Right now, we feel pretty good about everything. It's a pretty exciting day today. It's probably the first time that I've ever had my truck sponsor as the race sponsor. It's pretty cool. The whole year has been cool to have a teammate like Rick Crawford, being involved with Ford and to have a sponsor like International is just incredible. I'm looking forward to today and the race tonight. Hopefully, we'll put one of these Circle Bar Racing Ford F-150s in victory lane."

IN THE HISTORY OF SHORT-TRACK TRUCK RACING AT ORP, THE RACE WINNER HAS QUALIFIED IN THE TOP-FIVE. HOW IMPORTANT IS QUALIFYING AND TRACK POSITION HERE? "It's always key, especially on a track like this. I guess you can call it clean air up front; it's not bad. Anytime you can run up front and stay up front, you're in a better position because it gets pretty congested back in the field here at ORP. The records don't lie, if the winners generally come out of the top-five in qualifying over the years, that just tells you that you want to be up near the front, somewhere. I haven't qualified all that well this year, but the MaxxForce crew, Dennis Connor, my crew chief, and all the guys do a great job on pit road are making great adjustments and we can battle back close to the front, if we don't qualify near the front. Today, tonight here at ORP, you want to have a good starting spot because it's a tough race."

LAST YEAR YOU FINISHED FOURTH, IS THIS A TRACK THAT YOU LIKE TO RACE? "I like them all. I love to race. Last year I finished fourth, but years before that, I didn't finish well. It was in a tough place because the race track is so challenging because it is so flat. You apex the corner way past the center of the corner, you're truck has to turn past the center. The way you drive the race track is very unique. Over the years, I haven't very good luck here. But last year, I had a good race and my teammate this year, Rick Crawford, won the race last year and we battled the first 50 or 60 laps for the lead back and forth, it was pretty cool. I ended up fourth, Rick ended up winning the race. We've been picking their brains over the weekend to make sure we have what they had last year or at least similar set-ups. Hopefully, one of our Circle Bar Racing F-150s will be in victory lane tonight. This should be a fun race. I'm honored to be part of International and to have them sponsor the race tonight is really a pretty cool deal."
