Miguel Paludo Ready For First Career Start At Homestead-Miami
* Second Outing With Red Horse Racing...The WinStar World Casino 350 at Texas Motor Speedway was Paludo's first start with Red Horse Racing.
* Overcoming The Learning Curve...Having never raced at Homestead-Miami Speedway, Paludo will have his work cut out for him on Thursday evening. He has studied up on the track and of the tracks he has competed on this year, compares it most closely to Kentucky Speedway. Hoping to gain additional knowledge during the practice sessions on Thursday, Paludo says soaking up everything there is to learn is a daunting task. He says having the experience of the team led by veteran crew chief Rick Gay really helps make the transition a smooth one.
Miguel Paludo on racing at Homestead-Miami Speedway "My experience with Red Horse Racing has been awesome so far. When we unloaded at Texas the truck was really good. The team only made a couple small changes and it got even better. Being that good from the start of practice really helped me focus on getting to know the track. That preparation makes it easier to learn what I need to learn in such a short amount of time. I have great communication with Rick; we think the same way and he really understands what I am saying about the truck. I'm looking forward to getting back in the #11 Stemco Duroline Tundra at Homestead. Our goal is to finish all the laps and bring home a good finish."
Rick Gay on racing at Homestead-Miami Speedway "I'm looking forward to working with Miguel again at Homestead. Red Horse Racing has a really good set-up for Homestead and that is going to help us be a little ahead of the game when practice starts on Thursday evening. Our goal is to get Miguel some very valuable seat time before the 2011 season starts and to do that we need to run all the laps. I think we all learned a lot in Texas and we can use that this week to earn a solid finish and end the year on a high note."
Equipment Information Miguel Paludo will compete with chassis #65 in the Ford 200 at Homestead-Miami Speedway. This is the same chassis Justin Lofton raced at Texas Motor Speedway.
