Bobby Hamilton announces Cooper Hand Tools as Daytona sponsor

MT. JULIET, Tenn. -- January 24, 2005 -- Bobby Hamilton Racing announces a one-race primary sponsorship with Cooper Hand Tools, manufacturer of Lufkin measuring products, Wiss cutting tools and Crescent adjustable wrenches , for the series-opener NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series event at Daytona International Speedway on February 18, 2005. The current NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series Champion's No. 4 Dodge will feature logos of both Lufkin Pro Series and Wiss Pro Series for the kick-off night race event which starts at 8:15 p.m. EDT.

"We are glad to have them on board with us for Daytona," Hamilton said. "BHR started working with Cooper Hand Tools as an associate sponsor on our trucks last year. We worked with their Lufkin Tape Measures and Wiss cutting tools all season. They really did a lot for our teams and marketed its program well in the industry. After this race and for the rest of this year, Cooper Hand Tools will still be associated with our teams as an associate sponsor.

"Daytona is the cream of the crop when it comes to races and we feel like our team will give them a good show," Hamilton said. "We have a strong superspeedway program and after testing in Daytona, we really think we will have a good run there. Our team is always looking to grow our sponsorships into bigger opportunities, so this step with Cooper Hand Tools is big for us. Hopefully we can give them what their marketing program needs for a successful race sponsorship."

Jeff Measley, vice president of marketing for Cooper Hand Tools, says the company expects many benefits from its continued involvement with BHR and NASCAR. "Our close relationship with the top team in Truck Series racing is exciting for our customers and employees."
