TODD BODINE, No. 30 Lumber Liquidators Toyota Tundra, Germain Racing Finished: 2nd
Did the weather at the end of the race change the way your truck handled?
"Yeah, that was just it. When we were leading there before the last pit stop we were really good. It started getting tight and I told Mike (Hillman Sr., crew chief). Kyle (Busch) got a lot better grip and he was a little free so that helped him out and made us a little worse. After we changed the tires we put some scuffs on and adjusted it to make it a little freer, but the scuffs made it too free. Right at the end there I could actually run times faster than Kyle but every once in a while, I would slip and he would pull back away. It was a great race for the Lumber Liquidators Tundra. First last week and second this week, that is how you win championships. It looks like it's going to come down to this front five here to win the championship."
Are you pleased with the impressive statement you and your team has made to start this year?
"Yeah. We all put our heads together and figured out where we missed it last year. We tried to figure out what things we could improve on this year. We had Mike Hillman Sr. on top of the box this week -- we missed Mike Hillman Jr. -- but we had a great day. The Lumber Liquidators crew did a great job. We just went to work. We tried to figure out what we were missing last year. We have got a pretty good handle on it. I'm not going to say it's perfect, but we've got a good handle on it. The truck was pretty good. The Tundra ran great and it was a good day"
