1999 marks the official entrance of Cornwell Tools into NASCAR. On October 30th Cornwell will enter their #59 Ford F-150 in the season ending NASCAR Truck event at California Speedway.
Since its inception, the NASCAR Truck series has been a tremendous success. Drawing huge crowds at tracks nationwide, the series continues to grow year after year.
Working in conjunction with CSG Racing, Cornwell is looking to make a splash in Fontana, CA. CSG Racing currently run full-time in the ARCA Bondo/Mar-Hyde series with driver Mark Gibson. An exceptional and versatile driver, Mark finished 2nd in the series in 1998 and will drive the Cornwell NASCAR Truck in October.
The truck itself is a rolling Cornwell Tools billboard. The Blue and White 1999 F-150 color scheme is reminiscent of the famed C4R Cunningham car of the early 50'S which competed successfully in the 24 hour of Le Mans races. With it's "Ironman" logos and open-end wrenches on each side the truck is sure to stand out in any crowd.
Look for the #59 Cornwell NASCAR Truck on October 30, 1999 at California Speedway or if you can't make the race be sure to watch the event live on ESPN at 4:00pm EST.
