Statesville, NC (April 19, 2006) -- Evernham Motorsports recently announced that its No. 98 Cheerios/Betty Crocker truck series team will have a new recipe for success for the remainder of the 2006 season. The team adopted the new leadership structure which will feature a team director, car director and engineer. The new leadership organization is currently used by Evernham's NASCAR Nextel Cup series teams.

Beginning this week, Patrick Donahue will take the lead as the Team Director of Evernham Motorsports' No. 98 Cheerios/Betty Crocker truck team. Donahue is no stranger to working for Ray Evernham as he began his racing career at the age of seventeen under the guidance of Evernham.

Long-time Dodge engineer, Scott McDougal, will now serve as the team's engineer. Prior to his time with Evernham Motorsports, McDougal was the engineer for Bam Racing, a NASCAR Nextel Cup team. Ronnie Hornaday will continue his duties as truck director and front tire carrier on the No. 98 Cheerios/Betty Crocker truck team.

"Everyone within the Evernham organization has been working together to enhance the performance of the No. 98 Cheerios/Betty Crocker truck team," said Team Owner Ray Evernham.

"This same leadership approach has been very successful with our cup teams and I believe it will be the same for the truck team. This is a step we need to take to provide Erin with the best equipment possible," stated Evernham.
