* This Week's Tundra... Skinner will be behind the wheel of RMM-101 at Dover International Speedway. This particular Tundra has not been utilized by the International Truck/Monaco RVs Toyota team yet during the 2010 season. However, the truck was used at Dover International Speedway during a test session last year and was prepared specifically for this Friday's 200-mile race.
* Momentum at The Monster Mile... In just six starts at the Monster Mile, Skinner has become one of the strongest competitors at the Delaware short-track. He is the only NASCAR Camping World Truck Series repeat pole-sitter in the series' 10 years of competition at Dover International Speedway. Additionally, Skinner has started from the pole position for two of the last three races at The Monster Mile with back-to-back poles in 2007 and 2008. While he is still waiting for his breakthrough victory at Dover International Speedway, Skinner currently sits sixth on the list of all-time lap leaders around the treacherous one-mile oval with 113 laps led.
* Toyota Loyalty... Skinner is the only driver to have piloted a Toyota Tundra in every NASCAR Camping World Truck Series race. The two teamed up in 2004 when the manufacturer entered into the NASCAR arena.
Mike Skinner on driving at Dover International Speedway
"Dover [International Speedway] is always a really fun place to race. I have had quite a few strong races there over the years, but we haven't been able to seal the deal just yet. The track is extremely fast and the high banking with concrete surface are reminiscent of Bristol [Motor Speedway]; it produces really great racing here. The guys prepared our truck specifically for this track based on a test that we did there last year. We have had strong trucks so far this season, and I'm sure that this weekend will be no different."
Crew Chief Gene Nead on racing at Dover International Speedway
"Mike [Skinner] has been a strong competitor at Dover [International Speedway], but he hasn't been able to get a win there yet. We're taking a truck that has been setup and tuned specifically for this track, and we have some strong momentum left over from our top-10 finish at Kansas [Speedway]. With the right adjustments throughout the race and a little bit of luck, I'm certain that we can be in contention at the end of the race. We'd love to finally get [Mike] Skinner back to victory lane on another concrete oval."
