Jason White Conquering the Monster Mile before Engine Loss

Jason White started 25th for Friday's AAA Insurance 200 NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series event at Dover (DE) International Speedway. White gained speed throughout the race and was moving the #08 GunBroker.com Dodge forward until his engine blew ending his day. White posted a 30th place finish. It was the first time this season that a motor has caused a DNF for the #08 team. Dover marked race number 8 of 25 on the season. In several of the first 8-rounds SS Green Light Racing and Jason White have come close to top finishes only to be robbed by some type of misfortune.

"We really are a better team than we are posting finishes," said White. "We had a fast truck again in the race and I was taking my time and moving forward. When the motor blew I knew we were done and just couldn't believe it. It's like watching a movie and not getting to see the end."

"These have been strong motors for us and we haven't had any issues this year," added White.

As the 2008 NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series nears mid-season, Jason White and the #08 GunBroker.com team are looking forward to better results. They will head to the Lone Star State for Friday night's Sam's Town 400 at Texas Motor Speedway.

"I really like Texas, its fast and a fun place to race," said White. "I hope to have a good solid run there and get our momentum going forward again."
