DENNIS SETZER, NO. 85 CHEVROLET E85 FLEXFUEL SILVERADO, 16TH IN PRACTICE:

"Our FlexFuel Silverado is driving pretty good. We need a little more speed; we need to stay up in the draft a little better. The guys are working really hard to get a little more speed out of it and I think we will be ok."

IS THERE A DIFFERENCE IN THE DYNAMIC OF THE COMPETITORS BETWEEN TESTING AND TODAY'S PRACTICE? "We were keyed up and ready to go for testing. We worked hard the entire time we were down here. We brought that back with us and are now working on finding more speed to be a little bit better in the draft. That is what we are looking for now. There are a lot of good trucks out there. It is really tough. The new restriction device we have on our trucks is different than it has ever been. It has us searching harder than we have ever searched before.

WHAT IS THE BIGGEST CHANGE IN THE TRUCKS WITH THE NEW RESTRICTION DEVICE? "The trucks don't catch up. If you get out of line just a little bit, you can be out of the draft in a hurry, more like a Cup race. That didn't happen before. It seems like we can loose the draft with our truck. That didn't happen before either. You could go back 20 truck lengths and catch back up. Get back in line and go. Our truck doesn't do that as well as it used to. We are thinking the device is contributing. Maybe a lot of other trucks are doing the same thing I am hoping. We are working hard to fix that in ours so we are the only truck that doesn't do that."

WILL YOU WORK ON QUALIFYING TOMORROW? "We might make a couple qualifying runs tomorrow morning but we are about out of tires for race stuff and it doesn't make sense to use another set of tires right now. I think we need four sets of tires, one set on the truck and three in the pits for the race. We will probably keep that available. It will be Eric's (Phillips, crew chief) call in the morning so I will see what he says but we've used up a set and that was our fifth set. So we are probably in qualifying mode now. I think a lot of trucks will be in that mode".

KRAIG KINSER, NO 47 CENTRIX SILVERADO, 19th IN PRACTICE:

"It went pretty good out there. A lot different than the test. It was a little slick out there so we were having trouble staying down close to the yellow line so we work on the handling a little bit and we will be fine."

WHAT IS THE DIFFERENCE BETWEEN TESTING AND TODAY? "You can tell everyone definitely has their race stuff in and ready to go. We are running a little bit closer to see what their stuff can really be right now. A lot more intense than the test - it was a day packed into one hour."

IS THERE ADDITIONAL PRESSURE BECAUSE YOU HAVE TO QUALIFY TO GET IN THE RACE? "I think after we qualify, it will be a little more relaxed around our pit. We aren't totally uptight or anything, but there is always addition pressure when you have to qualify to get in. Having a chance to miss the show is always in the back of everyone's mind but hopefully it won't come to that."

WHAT IS IT LIKE TO WORK WITH A CREW CHIEF WITH THE EXPERIENCE AND CREDENTIALS OF RANDY GOSS? "Definitely having Randy Goss and our whole No. 47 Silverado crew with a lot more experience than me is a huge benefit. I am trying to learn as much as I can from them."

RON HORNADAY, NO. 33 KEVIN HARVICK, INC. SILVERADO, 25th IN PRACTICE:

"I just have to thank all the guys on this team. Chris Rice and everyone on this KHI Silverado is unbelievable. We came down here with the gear we had in testing and it just has so much RPM. Our Richard Childress motor and what they had done to this Silverado body, the thing is just so darn fast. We keep changing gears and it keeps going faster. We don't know for sure where we stand up right now but she really drives good and we haven't had a full lap wide open yet in the draft, I have to keep using the brake and lifting. I think we have a pretty good Silverado for Friday's race. I can't wait for the green flag."

ARIC ALMIROLA, NO. 75 SPEARS MANUFACTURING SILVERADO, FIFTH IN PRACTICE:

Note: Almirola was involved in a single truck spin late in practice. The truck sustained minor damage to the front valance. "We are alright. Had another guy come down on my right rear quarter and pulled me around. Our Spears Silverado is a fast fast truck. We just have a little bit of valance damage, but the guys will go to work on it and get it fixed and we will be fine."

DID YOU DO ANY QUALIFYING RUNS? "No, this truck finished seventh in the points last year so we are quarantined a spot in the race so we worked on our race package. The race is what pays the points and the money.

WAS IT DIFFERENT OUT THERE THAN DURING TESTING? "Everyone is a lot more aggressive out there. It is a lot of fun but definitely a lot more hairy. Everyone is pretty crazy out there right now."

HOW DO YOU FEEL YOUR LEARNING CURVE IS GOING ON A SUPERSPEEDWAY? "I learn something new every day here at Daytona. Every track we go to is going to be a learning experience for me so I am just going to stay focused and learn as much as I can get from track to track and build it in to one good year."

MATT CRAFTON, NO. 88 MENARDS SILVERADO, SECOND IN PRACTICE:

"I am fairly happy with our truck. We were trying to get it to drive better in a pack. Kerry (Earnhardt, teammate) has a really fast truck. We still have a little work to do. We still have some work to do and changes to make in the morning to see what we will have for them Friday night."

KYLE KRISILOFF, NO 15 DITECH.COM/LAND LIQUIDATORS SILVERADO, 22ND IN PRACTICE:

"The No. 15 ditech.com Silverado was real good. I learned a lot out there and driving in traffic. We were a little tight, but I think we have a good baseline for the race. We'll learn more tomorrow then be ready for the race."

MIKE BLISS, NO. 16 XPRESS MOTORSPORTS SILVERADO, 12th IN PRACTICE:

"I think our handling is good. We have been working mostly on gearing and carburetor. When we go out to draft, it doesn't matter whether we are in a four truck or 12 truck pack, we need more powers. I am pretty happy with our handling. I think that is the biggest key here handling the whole race so you can be flat to the floor the whole race. We are going to stick to the race setup tomorrow. The race is more important. We are going to find some speed. We are going to try a few things on our race setup to get more speed, which will help with qualifying. This team ran pretty good here last year, so they know where they are at with the truck and know what they want. There isn't much different between last year and this year as far as the truck goes. Just need to get a little more comfortable in it."{

KERRY EARNHARDT, NO. 13 THORSPORT SILVERADO, FIRST IN PRACTICE:

"It feels really great to be back in a truck here at Daytona. It is always great to be in a competitive race truck. We are just drafting right now, we have a lot of drafting speed there. So I am excited to see how capable the truck is going to be by itself. We will work on drafting first thing in the morning, but we will do a few individual runs before practice is over. I am having a good time."
