Lowes Motor Speedway: "I love racing on fast surfaces. We had a fast truck in Kansas and it came alive at the beginning of the race. Then after the rain delay and the restart on Monday, I still felt like we had a truck that could win or finish in the top five no problem. I know that for Charlotte we are taking the same strategy and expecting the same results. We've hit on something lately that is making a big difference in our performance overall as an organization. I'm feeling very confident every time we go to the track."
Rebuilding Trucks: "It is such a hard turn around right now on the teams to rebuild all these trucks after accidents. Then on top of that we are adding more to our stable this year. So between building the trucks, and fixing them it really puts a strain on our teams. It gets even harder to do it in the middle of the season when you have so many races back to back. So right now the team is working overtime to get ahead and preparing for the long stretch of races in a row. It takes a lot of pre-planning to really make race teams gel and something not slip through the cracks."
Announcing Cajun Industries as a Co-Primary: "We are fortunate to welcome Cajun Industries back to our stable this year. I'm elated to work with them. I have had the time to really get to know them and learn a lot about their company so far this year. They have really done tremendous things to rebuild communities devastated by Hurricane Katrina in some really trying times. The company is an outstanding organization and we are thrilled to have them partner with HT Motorsports and the opportunity to take them to victory lane."
