Mike Bliss scored his second victory of the season in his No. 16 Chevy at Kansas Speedway after leader Rick Crawford lost his engine with only two laps remaining in the event.

With the win Bliss moves up to second in the points after second point man heading in to the Kansas race, David Starr, lost an engine.

Ted Musgrave continues to lead the points overall. Musgrave finished today's event in the fifth spot in his Ultra Motorsports Dodge.

Pole sitter Jason Leffler had yet again another outstanding run in his No. 2 Dodge. Leffler was hunting down leader Crawford when Crawford's engine let go. Leffler's car received overflow of Crawford's fluid, causing him to slip up track and to lose track position. He ended the race fourth.

The fourth caution of the day was brought out when reining Raybestos Rookie of the Year Travis Kvapil and current rookie points leader Brendan Gaughan wrecked on lap 114. Kvapil's No. 60 truck became loose and pushed up track into the No. 62 piloted by Gaughan.

The fifth and final caution of the day was brought out by Brian Rose after he cut a right front tire and bounced his No. 6 truck off of the outside wall. The race was restarted for the final time with seven laps remaining.

The No. 46 of Dennis Setzer finished second while the No. 20 of Joe Gibbs racing driver came tied a career best finish of third.
