HOMESTEAD, FL -- Current points leader Mike Bliss won the pole for Friday's season-ending event on the 1.5 mile track in Homestead. Bliss won the pole by having a fast lap in his #16 Chevrolet, at a top speed of 147.111 mph. Bliss has five victories for the season so far.

Dodge driver Ted Musgrave ran the second best lap at 136.991 mph. His Ultra Motorsports teammate Jason Leffler, who is still searching for Truck Series win number one, will start third.

Bliss currently leads the title chase over Ford driver Rick Crawford by 32 points. Crawford's lap was good enough for the fifth starting spot. However, following post qualifying inspection, fourth place qualifier Robert Pressley and his #18 Dodge were found with an unapproved spring. Pressley will drop to 33rd, moving Crawford to fourth.

Two-time Craftsman Truck Series Champion Ron Hornaday rounds out the top five by putting his #211 Chevy close to the front. Hornaday's entry is a team truck out of the same stables as Bliss.

Travis Kvapil, Terry Cook, Ryan Hemphill, Bill Lester and Matt Crafton close out the top-10 starters.
