Australian owned NASCAR team plans to enter Truck Series in 2015

Roo Motorsports plans to enter a truck in the 2015 NASCAR Camping World Truck Series season.

The first race team completely owned by Australians to ever enter NASCAR's national ranks is here. Roo Motorsports has set up shop in Salisbury, North Carolina and is originally from Brisbane, Australia.

The Australianowned team will field a Truck for an Australian driver too. Fitting, considering the imminent departure of Australian racing legend and soon to be ex-Sprint Cup driver Marcos Ambrose.

The team plans to run the No. 49 Chevrolet Silverado for Scott Saunders next year. Saunders made three starts at the Nationwide level in 2012, finishing as high as 28th.

The team owner and driver aren't the only thing Australian about this team. Their sponsor is Sax Suspension, an Australian suspension manufacturer.
