Hampton, Ga. -- ThorSport Racing drivers had mixed fortune in the Easy Care 200 NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series race at Atlanta Motor Speedway on Saturday. Tracy Hines, driver of the team's No. 88 Menards Chevrolet, raced to a 16th-place finish, while the team's other driver, Tina Gordon, was involved in an early accident that resulted in a 35th-place finish for the No. 13 Vassarette/Microtel Chevrolet.

Hines started 22nd, and quickly advanced to the top-20.

Hines picked up a couple of spots right off the start, and when the field started to stabilize he stayed within the top-20. However, he was trapped a lap down on the first long green flag run. After a couple of cautions allowed the team to make adjustments, the truck was more consistent. While he was never able to regain the lost lap, he was able to pick up positions and remain just one lap off the pace.

Hines completed 133 of the race's 134 laps. With his finish, he moves into a tie for 17th in NCTS point standings.

Gordon was involved in a multi-truck crash on the backstretch on lap 43 that sidelined her for the day. She now sits 30th in NCTS driver points.

The next event for the NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series is the Kroger 250 at Martinsville Speedway on April 17. The race is scheduled for live telecast on Speed Channel and will be heard live on MRN Radio and XM Satellite Radio starting at 1 pm ET.
