NASCAR Nationwide fans will have to wait for Sunday morning.
Rain in Newton, Iowa, Saturday evening forced the postponement of the Pioneer 250 NASCAR Nationwide Series race scheduled for Saturday night at Iowa Speedway until Sunday at 10 a.m. local time (11 a.m. ET).
When the race gets underway on Sunday, the No. 3 Richard Childress Racing Chevrolet of Austin Dillon will start from the pole for the third-consecutive race. Earlier in the day, Dillon toured the .875-mile oval with a speed of 136.737 mph.
The No. 12 Penske Racing Ford of Sam Hornish Jr. will also start on the front row from the second spot with a speed of 135.834 mph.
Starting on the second row will be Brian Scott in the No. 2 Richard Childress Racing Chevrolet and Brian Vickers in the No. 20 Toyota from the Joe Gibbs Racing stables.
