Last Race -- Daytona International Speedway:

The Hungry Drivers' program was kicked off last weekend in Daytona Beach, FL with the 2004 season opener Hershey's Kisses 300 at Daytona International Speedway on Saturday, February 14, 2004. In his first career restrictor plate race, Paul Wolfe qualified 21st and raced up to the 6th position before rain postponed the remainder of the event until Monday. On Monday, within just a few laps, Wolfe worked his way up as far as second place before his day ended in an accident on lap 41.

The rookie has spent the last couple of days digesting what happened in Daytona -- "I was pretty torn-up by Monday's incident in Daytona. But I have to look back at it as a learning experience. In hindsight I wish I would have laid back a little and allowed myself to get a little more comfortable with the pace of the race. We ran up front with some veteran drivers that I have looked up to throughout my career and I think that says a lot about this No. 6 Hungry Drivers' team. We are now ready to take the Country Crock® Dodge to Rockingham and prove what we can do."

Driver, Paul Wolfe on North Carolina Speedway:

Wolfe will make his first career start at "The Rock" in the No. 6 Hungry Drivers Dodge, sponsored by Shedd's Spread Country Crock®, on Saturday.

"I am looking forward to going to Rockingham and getting back to the kind of racing that I am accustomed to. Tommy (Baldwin) has had some great success at "The Rock" and he has had a lot if input into the set-up of the Rockingham car. I think that we are going to be pretty close set-up wise when we unload it. The game plan is to get some laps under my belt so that I can get a feeling for the track, then switch over to qualifying mode. Qualifying is important at this track and we want to earn a good starting spot. Tire management will be key because of how abrasive the track surface is and how fast it will eat up your tires. We're looking for a set-up that is good on the long runs well after your tires are worn out. For myself, I will take a lesson from my experience at Daytona - use patience.

Equipment:

The No. 6 Hungry Drivers' Racing team will compete with chassis TBR-9 this weekend in Rockingham this weekend. TBR-9 was driven in both 2003 Bristol Motor Speedway events for Tommy Baldwin Racing. Jimmy Spencer drove it to a 24th place finish in the spring event and Ted Musgrave finished 3rd in the August event.

Sponsored by Ragu ® pasta sauce, Shedd's Spread Country Crock ® and Hellmann's ® mayonnaise, car owner Tommy Baldwin Racing will place four up and coming "hungry" drivers behind the wheel of the No. 6 Hungry Drivers' Dodge in 12 races throughout the 2004 NASCAR Busch Series season. Three drivers have been named including Paul Wolfe, Mark McFarland and Tracy Hines. A fourth driver is expected later in the season. Each driver will compete in three races; at the end of the season the driver who turns in the best performance will be in a prime position to secure a full Busch ride in 2005.
