YOU'RE THE LAST BUSCH POLE WINNER.
"That's pretty special. I really haven't put much thought into it like that. I'm sure years down the road that will mean a lot. Anheuser-Busch has done a tremendous amount for this NASCAR Busch Series and to be a young kid watching all the guys like Jeff Green, Matt Kenseth and Dale Jr. racing four, five or 10 years ago and to be a part of it at the end is pretty special. I definitely look forward to a long career in the Nationwide Series also."
TALK ABOUT BEING ON POLE FOR THE FORD 300 NASCAR BUSCH RACE.
"That's awesome. Actually, the first thing I thought about was that Jon Wood was on the pole last night's truck race and we've just won the Busch pole, so we're doing pretty good. Hopefully, we'll be able to win the race this afternoon. We all come down here to run as fast as we can on every lap of the race. But to be on the pole, that's only half of it. Now, we've got to out and race smart. If we can just be around at the end of these things, we've had some pretty good Ford Fusions towards the end of the race. We've got to make sure we don't have any problems with the first part of the race and will be there in the end."
DO YOU LIKE THE TRACK?
"This is an awesome race track. It's got two or three grooves and you can run the bottom, middle or top. I haven't been that comfortable running on the bottom like some of the other guys have. I've run in the middle and the bottom of the race track, but I haven't been searching around, that's what we'll do today in the Busch race. By running today, that will help my AAA Ford Fusion Cup car for tomorrow. If I can learn a few things tonight, we'll have a good day tomorrow."
