Kenny Wallace on Atlanta Motor Speedway...

"Our speedway program has been really good this year. The Stacker 2® Chevy ran real well in Charlotte, and Atlanta is the same sort of race track. So we are looking forward to getting to Atlanta and finishing out the year strong.

"I have a great team. We just have to overcome our setbacks. Most teams would have given up at this point in the year with the luck that we have had, but my boys are working harder than ever. We just need to finish off the great runs that we have put together and I think that we might do it this weekend.

"I am really excited about doing double-duty this weekend. We tested the Aaron's Rent Chevy a couple of weeks ago in Atlanta and learned a couple of things that will really help us during the race. I seem to be more focused when I run both races because there is less time to goof off."

Kenny Wallace Happenings ...

Wallace will make the 13th stop on the 2004 Race to Bee Safe tour. He will visit The Marist School in Atlanta on Oct. 28 to talk to the students about the responsibilities that go along with driving a vehicle. Wallace and a local law enforcement officer try to convey to the high school students that a car is a weapon and needs to be treated with respect. This is the second year of the program, which has been well received by both the NASCAR community and the local markets Wallace has visited. The program has an added bonus this year: One student will win a $20,000 scholarship by writing an essay about what the program meant to them.

Get to Know Jack...One-year-old Jack Sable suffers from a chromosome disorder that affects many people in the United States. When Stacker 2® heard about Jack and his condition, it took the family under its wing. For every lap Wallace and the Stacker 2®/YJ Stinger® team completes this year, NVE Pharmaceuticals, the parent company of Stacker 2®, will donate $1 to the Sable family to help pay for Jack's medical costs. So far this season, the Stacker 2®/YJ Stinger® team has raised over $5,600 to help Jack and his family.
