Ashton Gray Racing Becomes Newest Addition To NASCAR Busch Series

COLONIAL HEIGHTS, Va. (January 31, 2006) - - Virginia businessmen Dwayne Gaulding, and Barry Tudor announced today the formation of Ashton Gray Racing, a professional based NASCAR Busch Series team set to debut at Atlanta Motor Speedway in March 2006.

The team has selected NASCAR driver Jason White to pilot their Dodge Intrepids in a minimum of ten NBS (NASCAR Busch Series) events this season. The team's car number, motor program and sponsors will be announced at a later date. In addition to Atlanta, the team plans to run at Nashville, Kentucky, Michigan, Kansas and Chicago to name a few.

Jason White is no stranger to the garage area and has proven again and again he is able to take an under-funded team and allow them to reach new heights and exposure.

"We're very excited about this new endeavor," explained owner Dwayne Gaulding. "We've purchased some cars from one of the hottest teams in the NASCAR Busch Series last season. Jason is a perfect match for this organization. He is young, talented and hardworking and that's just the type of driver who we want representing our sponsors."

Tudor echoes his partner's statement. "Ashton Gray Racing has a lot to prove this year," he said. "We are a new team debuting in probably one of the most competitive years on record, but we will be ready. We are not rushing into this. We are doing it the right way. We feel if we can perform, it will intensify our plans to run for the championship in 2007."

Jason White is also a native of Virginia making him a perfect fit to AGR (Ashton Gray Racing). "It's really an honor to have the opportunity to drive for Dwayne and Barry," mentioned White, who holds a career best finish of 17th in the NASCAR Busch Series occurring at Nashville in 2003. White is also a former competitor in the NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series completely most notably for IMPACT Racing while posting a career best finish of 13th at Martinsville Speedway.

"I want to build AGR into a championship caliber team," added White who originally hails from Colonial Heights, Virginia. "I've been waiting for the right situation to come along in order for me to really prove myself to the other competitors and teams, I think this is it. As for White's goals this season, he's confident. We will have a package capable of racing inside the top ten. Qualifying is now more crucial than ever before, but the cars are awesome and I think the motor package will be second-to-none, I can't wait for Atlanta."

The team has also launched a new website, AshtonGrayRacing.com allowing everyone to keep better taps on this new operation.
