NASCAR held out to the last possible minute, but in the end Mother Nature was the victor. The race got under away at 12:33 pm today, but rain began to fall at lap 39 and the red flag was displayed.

Atlanta Motor Speedway continued track drying attempts will past the 5:00 pm hour, but another deluge made it obvious that no racing was to commence Sunday.

The race has been rescheduled to 11:00 am Monday morning. The race will pick up from lap 39 with Kevin Harvick as the leader.
