It appears as if Martin Truex Jr has quickly found a home. According to Jayski.com, Furniture Row Motorsports is set to make a major announcement, presumably about who will pilot their #78 Sprint Cup car tomorrow morning.
For Truex Jr, it is safe bet and a way for him to at least secure a ride for next season.
For Furniture Row, it gives them a talented driver who got the wrong end of the stick at Michael Waltrip Racing.
This is a great move for both parties as Furniture Row will continue to field a driver capable of knocking down top 10’s and Truex Jr has a chance to stay in the Cup Series. Furniture Row has looked impressive on road courses (especially at Sonoma where Truex Jr won this year) and has done wonders with the loose cannon that is Kurt Busch.
Of course at this time, the assumption is that Truex Jr behind the wheel of the #78 that has been a staple of Furniture Row since their inception in the cup series, but all of the major details are still unknown. More to come on this developing story!
