BAM Racing Showcases Paralyzed Veterans of America on No. 49 Dodge ... Bam Racing is pleased to support Paralyzed Veterans of America (Paralyzed Veterans) by showcasing the organization as primary sponsor of the No. 49 BAM Racing Dodge at the upcoming NASCAR NEXTEL Cup Series events at Texas Motor Speedway and Phoenix International Raceway.

Paralyzed Veterans of America, a congressionally chartered veterans service organization founded in 1946, has developed a unique expertise on a wide variety of issues involving the special needs of veterans of the armed forces who have experienced spinal cord injury or dysfunction (SPI/D).

Bliss at Texas Motor Speedway ... Bliss has three NEXTEL Cup Series starts at Texas Motor Speedway. He has one top-10 start and one top-20 finish at the1.5-mile quad-oval with a track-best starting position of 6th (11/06/05) and a track-best finish of 16th (11/06/05).

Last season with BAM Racing, Bliss was the fastest of the "go-or-go home" cars that qualified for the November race capturing a 22nd place starting position. In happy hour, he led the field finishing the session in the top position. He ultimately finished the race in a respectable 23rd place.

Bliss on Texas Motor Speedway ... "I am looking forward to racing in Texas this weekend. After two successful Car of Tomorrow races, I am ready to return to intermediate tracks which are among my favorites. The team is bringing the same car to Texas that we ran in Atlanta. We qualified ninth with this car in Atlanta and finished 21st. We hope to qualify and race just as well in Texas."
