RIGGS EXCITED ABOUT RETURN TRIP TOTEXAS MOTOR SPEEDWAY

CENTRIX Financial To Be Primary Sponsor of No. 10 Car in Texas

FORT WORTH, Texas (Nov. 2, 2005)-- Scott Riggs will visit Texas Motor Speedway this weekend where he will pilot the No. 10 CENTRIX Financial/Valvoline Chevrolet in Sunday's NEXTEL Cup Series' Dickies 500.

The event marks the first time the series has visited the 1.5-mile oval twice in one season.

"I'm excited about the second race at Texas," said Riggs. "I really like theracetrack and feel comfortable there. I had some good runs at the track in the Busch and Truck series but haven't had the same success in Cup. We've had some decent performances but we're still searching for that finish."

Riggs past accomplishments on the tri-oval include claiming both pole positions in the NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series eventsin 2001 and collecting top-five finishes in his two Busch Series starts there.

His luckin the Nextel Cup series, however, hasn't been as good. In his two Cup starts Riggs has finished 15th (2004) and 32nd (April 2005).

"We've had good cars but not good finishes," said Riggs. "In the spring we were going to the front early in the race, but I made a mistake and got loose and backed the car in the wall. Those are the things we have to avoid this weekend."

The primary sponsorship on Riggs' car in Texaswill be the blue, white and gold colors of CENTRIX Financial. Valvoline, Riggs' major sponsor for the majority of the 36 point races, will take on an associate role during this weekend's competition.

"I'm looking forward to this weekend," said Riggs. "The plan is to go to Texas, have a good run and bring home a solid finish. I think that's a reasonable goal."

Sunday's Nextel Cup event will be broadcast live on NBC beginning at 3 p.m. ET, 2 p.m. local time.
