Charlotte, NC (November 7, 2010) -- Robby Gordon will return to the helm of the No. 7 MAPEI Toyota Camry for Sunday's race at Texas Motor Speedway. Coming off an 18th-place finish at Talladega Superspeedway and a busy week announcing SPEED Energy Drink, Robby Gordon is ready to get behind the wheel of the MAPEI Toyota.

Robby's Thoughts -- "We had a strong car and a fun weekend at Talladega [Superspeedway]. We were able to navigate through the pack and race near the front of the field. At the end of the day, we got exactly what we needed--we finished the race and solidified our place inside the top-35 [NSCS] Owners Point standings. Hopefully we'll be able to put together another great race at Texas [Motor Speedway] this weekend. It's such a fun place to race, and I am excited to represent MAPEI this weekend."

Past Performances at Texas -- Since making his debut at the 1.50-mile quad-oval on April 6, 1997, Gordon has recorded 14 starts and has completed over 4,000 laps around the circuit. In last year's edition of the fall race at Texas Motor Speedway, Gordon ran inside the top-15 early in the race, but was bitten by pit strategy when a long green-flag run forced him to pit road to refuel during the closing laps. Gordon brought the No. 7 machine home in the 27th position that afternoon.
