Charlotte, NC (November 5, 2009) -- The familiar blue and yellow MAPEI colors return to Robby Gordon's No. 7 Camry this weekend at Texas Motor Speedway, one of the fastest intermediate tracks on the NASCAR circuit. Sunday's Dickies 500 will mark Robby Gordon's 13th start at the 1.5-mile oval.

Robby's Remarks -- "We had a strong car during the spring race here," commented Robby Gordon. "Unfortunately, we had an untimely engine failure. We've really been working on our intermediate program, and I know that we'll have a shot at a good finish here this weekend. I am excited to have MAPEI on the car this weekend and really enjoyed visiting their plant."

Past Texas Performances -- Throughout his career, Robby Gordon has made a total of 12 starts at the 1.5-mile quad-oval in Texas. The driver of the No. 7 MAPEI Camry recorded his best finish of 18th during his third start at the track back in 2003. Gordon's top qualifying effort and a 9th-place start came in the fall of 2007, which was Gordon's third start at Texas Motor Speedway running for his own team.

Scheduled Appearances -- On Thursday, Robby Gordon and the No. 7 MAPEI team made a special appearance at the MAPEI manufacturing facility in Garland, Texas. The Robby Gordon Motorsports hauler carrying the No. 7 MAPEI Camry that will race at Texas Motor Speedway on Sunday afternoon was also on premise for the appearance.

Robby Gordon will be joined by special guest, Paul Menard, for an autograph session at the RGM Merchandise Trailer on Sunday morning, November 8th. The duo will make their appearance at 10:00 a.m. to sign autographs for fans.
