KURT BUSCH (No. 2 Miller Lite Dodge Charger)

WHAT IS YOUR OUTLOOK GOING INTO THE RACE TOMORROW? "The strategy from this point on is to keep up with the changing track conditions. The place is getting a little hot and slick, and so the speeds drop off tremendously, where as before it was pretty much wide open all the way around the track. That changes a little bit and you just have to have your car adjustable so you can meet those changing conditions."

BOTH PENSKE CARS HAD GOOD PRACTICES TODAY. DO YOU FEEL DIALED IN AS A TEAM RIGHT NOW? "Yeah, communication is going well. We had a couple good practices under our belt. Now if we can just get some of that racing luck and have things go our way during the race hopefully we'll be there at the end."

REED SORENSON (No. 41 Target Dodge Charger)

WHAT WAS THE DIFFERENCE BETWEEN QUALIFYING YESTERDAY AND THE CAR TODAY IN PRACTICE? "No difference. Yesterday I went for the pole there and wasn't very good. I had to get all the way out of the gas coming off of turn two because I was heading straight for the fence there, so I'm surprised we ran what we did. I was trying hard to get the pole and the car didn't stick very good. It was the same thing at Atlanta. We didn't qualify very good. We tried pretty hard there and ended up making it worse. The car is really good. It was good in qualifying. I was just trying hard. This car was good in Atlanta in race trim and its good here in race trim. We didn't have any doubts that it was good in race trim. It's a 500 mile race. As long as we stay out of trouble and pick our way through there like we did last week we should be good."

DOES YOUR QUALIFYING POSITION AFFECT THE RACE STRATEGY FOR TOMORROW? "Yeah, 500 miles is a long race. You just have to take your time and try to stay out of situations and pick your way through there. Last week we said on lap 100 we'd like to be in the top 10 and I think we were 12th. If we can do that again, try to get in the top 10 by lap 100 that'd be plenty of time to do what we need to do."
