Schrader's Thoughts On Talladega Superspeedway...

"I'm really excited to get down to Talladega. With the rules package we ran at Daytona earlier this season, the racing was a lot more like it used to be at the superspeedways. You really had to have a good handling car to put your car up front and stay there. The little "M&M's"® car had a couple of great runs in Daytona, and we hope to have similar success at Talladega this weekend."

"M&M's"® Racing At Talladega Superspeedway...

It's easy to see that Schrader has an affection for the big, high-speed tracks like Talladega and Daytona. Talladega is particularly special to the Missouri native as it was the site of his first Winston Cup win in 1988. The "M&M's"® driver also has two poles, 11 top 10s and six top fives at the 2.66-mile track.

"M&M's"® tire carrier Charlie Brock has a special connection with the Alabama superspeedway. Charlie's grandfather is legendary racer Red Farmer, one of the original members of the famed 'Alabama Gang' who won three consecutive NASCAR Busch Series, Grand National Division titles from 1969-1971.

Stop at the special "M&M's"® GLOBAL COLOR VOTE(tm) tent at Talladega Superspeedway to vote for your favorite color - purple, pink or aqua - this weekend. The tent will be open Friday through Sunday and is located near souvenir alley close to the track's north entrance.

People all around the world are voting to add one of the three colors to the famous "M&M's"® mix. NASCAR fans also have a little more to think about when casting their vote. Schrader will pilot the winning color car (and wear the winning color fire suit) for the Bristol night race in August.

Schrader and Dale Earnhardt Jr. will make a quick trip to Batesville Speedway in Batesville, Ark., on Friday night. The duo will sign autographs for the fans from 7-8:30 p.m. at the 3/8-mile dirt track.
