"I always look forward to racing at Talladega because it's just a great track to race at. It is fast-paced and we are always able to showcase the horsepower we're known for. Talladega is where I was fortunate enough to achieve one of my career-best finishes in the Cup series and we seem to run well there as an organization overall. There are always a lot of things that can happen out of your control at Talladega, so as a driver, you just have to be aware of what's happening around you. The car for this weekend ran really well at Daytona earlier this season but we weren't able to get the finish this car deserved due to an accident during the race. Our goal is to bring home another great finish so that we can continue to showcase the tremendous talent our Yates Racing organization has."

Ford. Drive one. crew chief Cully Barraclough on Talladega:

"Handling is never really one of our main concerns when we go to Talladega. We're always searching for speed when we travel to Talladega and I know that we've been working really hard leading up to this weekend. The engine shop has spent a lot of time making sure that we always have the best engines possible, especially for this weekend, so I think we're going to fair very well. We are actually bringing our car that we ran at Daytona back in July. It was a great race car, but unfortunately we got caught up in an accident and weren't able to see the car's full potential. David has had a lot of strong performances at Talladega so it should be a great race for our Ford. Drive one. team."

Chassis #592 is the chassis the No. 38 Ford. Drive one. team will be running this weekend for the Amp Energy 500 at Talladega Superspeedway. This is the same chassis the team ran at Daytona International Speedway for the Coke Zero 400 in July where they finished 40th due to an accident.
