KURT BUSCH (No. 2 Miller Lite Dodge Charger) Finished 32nd
"A tough finish for our Miller Lite Dodge because our finish doesn't reflect how strong our car was today. It's all a product of double-file restarts on a road course. It looked like we had a top-five finish with five laps to go. I just knew that something else was going to happen, especially when they put the 47 (Ambrose) behind us. I tried to give the 24 (J. Gordon) all the room that I could, but he got into us so hard that he cut down our right-rear tire and we had to pit under green and lost almost 30 positions. I'm proud of my Miller Lite Dodge guys because they worked their tails off all weekend. They gave me a great race car off the hauler. We just weren't able to bring it home today. It's a tough day in the points for us, but we'll move on to New Hampshire and reload next weekend."
BRAD KESELOWSKI (No. 12 Penske Racing Dodge Charger) Finished 35th
"The biggest thing for me today was how impressed I was with our Penske Dodge today. I'm so proud of my guys. For my first time racing in a Cup car at Infineon, I learned so much. Man, a lot of hard racing out there for sure. We were really fast at times and it's up to me to put a whole race together. I'm proud of the effort and the race is something that we can build on moving forward."
JAY GUY (crew chief, No. 12 Penske Racing Dodge Charger)
"I'm proud of everyone on this Penske Dodge team. We had a couple bad breaks, but it still looked like everything was going to play out in our favor. If we hadn't had a caution flag come out with 25 laps to go, I thought that we had a shot at a top-five finish. It was a good, solid day for Brad (Keselowski) for his first time on this track in a Cup car. I'm proud of the effort. By the time that we get to Watkins Glen I'll feel really good about our road course program."
SAM HORNISH JR (No. 77 Mobil 1 Dodge Charger) Finished 36th
"We were just trying to make sure that we were smart all race. We had good fuel mileage with our Mobil 1 Dodge and could make it to the end (of the race) with where we were on fuel. I was just trying to get a good clean restart and I think somebody didn't go up front and that just packed everything up. By the time we bended the corner, I was underneath everything. It was just one of those days. You have to watch out and see what happens. It's a tough day for sure."
HOW WAS THE RACING TODAY? "On any other given day at an oval track, everybody is a little bit more patient with each other. If you run into somebody (on an oval) most likely they're going to bump you back in the next corner. Here, if somebody gets into you there's the chance that you'll never see them again because it's a road course. Everybody just takes advantage of that and it's not a fun way to race. We didn't have a very good day to begin and we're just trying to bring our Mobil 1 Dodge home."
