CHARLOTTE, N.C. (October 11, 2007) -- SKI Motorsports and NOS Energy Drink announced today that they will team up to take on the NASCAR Sprint Cup Series in 2008. Backed by innovative promotions and top-notch equipment, the team will attempt the series' most celebrated races next season -- the Daytona 500, the Coca-Cola 600 at Lowe's Motor Speedway, the Allstate 400 at the Brickyard, and the Sharpie 500 at Bristol Motor Speedway.

SKI Motorsports will campaign the No. 50 NOS Energy Drink/SKI Motorsports Chevrolet in Sprint Cup Series competition with the fastest growing player in the energy drink market as primary sponsor. The car number celebrates the 50th anniversary of NASCAR and the Daytona 500 -- the most prestigious race in NASCAR.

In an effort to include NASCAR enthusiasts in the golden anniversary of the Daytona 500, SKI Motorsports and NOS Energy Drink are excited to offer one lucky fan the chance to feel like a champion, or least get paid like one. When the team qualifies for the Daytona 500 in February, one fan will receive the original winner's purse of the race which totaled $19,050.00 in 1959.

"We believe that there is a place in NASCAR Sprint Cup Series racing for smaller teams," said team owner Chris Lencheski. "The key is to build solid relationships with sponsors that are enthusiastic about the boundless opportunities available to them in NASCAR. >From there, you must invest in the right people and equipment to put yourself in a position to compete with the best in the sport."

"We are privileged to be a part of the SKI Motorsports racing program. We believe that this partnership is a great fit for brand NOS and the Fuze Beverage Company as a whole," commented Michael Fine, Brand Director for NOS Energy Drink. "NOS, with its history in motorsports, is the authentic energy drink team sponsor, and we can't think of better, more authentic way to be involved in NASCAR than with a team and a driver with such tremendous upside."

''I am extremely excited to have the opportunity to work with two companies of such stature," commented team driver Stanton Barrett. "Continued support by SKI Motorsports and NOS allows me to live a dream and race within an organization that can provide the resources to race in the most competitive forms of racing in the world.''

In a time when smaller teams face a myriad of challenges in the soon-to-be NASCAR Sprint Cup Series, the SKI Motorsports organization employs a proven-successful marketing platform that strives to connects with NASCAR fans and include them in the success of the team.

Lencheski added, "The key to this is to always remember that it is the fan is who makes the choice who to support, who to connect with -- we are what made NASCAR great -- a small team that will attempt to hit above its weight and if we are fortunate to capture the fans' interest in honoring the Daytona history while promoting its' future than we will be a positive story no matter what the result - I think we will surprise some folks"
