1999 Stats and Facts: Nadeau scored the best finish of his NASCAR Winston Cup career -- eighth -- in the DieHard 500 at Talladega (Ala.) Superspeedway April 25. Nadeau's best qualifying effort this year was at Martinsville (Va.) Speedway, where he recorded the fourth-fastest speed.

Cartoon Network will unveil a new paint scheme for the No. 9 Ford Friday, June 25 at Sears Point Raceway. It's "out of this world." 1998 Stats and Facts:

Nadeau posted his career-best qualifying position last year at Sears Point Raceway. He caught the attention of many NASCAR regulars when he ran the second-fastest lap in qualifying to earn a front-row starting spot for the race. However, an accident on lap 13 put an early end to his promising day and he finished 43rd.

Nadeau's season-high finish was 15th at Watkins Glen (N.Y.) International.

Nadeau's Thoughts on Sears Point Raceway: "I made a big mistake last year at Sears Point. I got greedy on the start, but I won't do that again. If I did, I wouldn't deserve to be in (NASCAR) Winston Cup racing. "I'm really looking forward to getting a second chance this year. We have two really good road course cars that we tested at Road Atlanta a couple of weeks ago. If we can qualify well and run up front, it's going to be a totally new deal from last year's race. "Road courses are a challenge. You have to be on top of things all the time. You're either shifting or turning or going up and down hill in every corner and on every straight. Your hand-eye coordination has to be very strong. Plus, you have to keep an eye on the other drivers. "I learned a lot as a rookie last year. Mostly, I know to be more patient and to choose a time to make my move more wisely."
